Default Possible Resto Rit Build?

Hello,
Im relatively new to Ritualist and am currently working my way through the storyline. (up to arborstone). I have also unlocked a little bit of NF with this character. I was wondering if this Resto Rit build would work. I don't have Attuned was Songkai yet so I tried to keep energy cost to a minimum.

[skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]Soothing Memories[/skill][skill]Spirit Light[/skill][skill]Recuperation[/skill][skill]Mighty was Vorizun[/skill][skill]Cautery Signet[/skill][skill]Remedy Signet[/skill][skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]

The idea is like a Martyr Rit except that I wont need to use energy to remove conditions and I wont be outlasting the conditions (while gaining Health Regen as with Resilient was Xiko) but instead removing it with remedy.

The spirit is to help give overall health regen as well as not requiring a sacrifice for Spirit Light.
Might was Vorizun is for the energy/armor boost.
Attribute Points are
12 Restoration Magic (+ any runes)
12 Communing (+ any runes)

Any comments or ideas for improvements?
Thanks in Advance

It seems like a workable build. with two signets and Soothing memories, as well as Vorizun, your energy pool will be safe.

Mend Body and Soul sould be an emergency skill, because the two signets should be more than enough to remove conditions. I would either keep it (again, for emergency healing) or replace it with another spirit to improve mobility. Pain currently has the greatest mobility (for its cheap cost and recharge - it also has a long duration) so that could be something to consider.

personally, I'd drop recuperation for [wiki]Life[/wiki] as well, the mend body and soul for pain is a good suggestion, another option for swapping it out since you are spending 12 in communing would be [wiki]Vital Weapon[/wiki] as it would fit in well as a viable buff.

wouldn't [wiki]Mend Body and Soul[/wiki] be better to keep and ditch spirit light instead since it cast faster, recharges faster, removes conditions as well as not requiring a potential sacrifice? or is it because spirit light can heal for a lot more that it is a better choice?

Also, I was wondering why [wiki]life[/wiki] would be better? because it recharges faster? Cost less? After 30 seconds a fight would probably already have been cleared so constant health regen would be more useful wouldn't it?

I could probably switch out one of the skill's for [wiki]pain[/wiki]... but which one

I think that the Cautery/Remedy Signet combination is a good one, and is okay for condition renewal. However, Martyr has only a 10 second cooldown, making it available more often for you. Dropping Resilient Was Xixo can actually gain energy for you throughout the whole process of condition removal (depending on what weapons you have equipped). However, the 8 skills that you have listed are certainly viable for everyday play. I like the Rt/P combo, there are a lot of nice skills that Ritualists can utilize.

Now that I'm lookin' at your build some more, I must ask you - Where're your Weapon Spells? The Mighty was Vorizun/Soothing Memories combination is nice for energy management. I my very personal opinion, though, Restoration isn't worth the 25 Energy. Now, you could add in Life, as was suggested, but I might say to add in Vital Weapon, and swap Spirit Light for Wielder's Boon. This'll give you a comparable heal with the addition of the tank (or person who's taking damage) having 150 more HP to burn through. I'd also swap out Mend Body and Soul for Resilient Weapon, to "buy time" for your Cautery/Remedy skills.

So, because I fail at the internet, here are my non-sweet-link-build-ideas.
Vital Weapon - (more health for the tanks, lasts for 30 seconds)
Resilient Weapon - (to buy time for Cautery Signet, don't overuse)
Wielder's Boon - (solid heals on weapon-spelled people)
Soothing Memories - (to heal folks with no weapon spells on 'em)
Mighty was Vorizun - (Energy Management)
Cautery Signet - (you know why)
Remedy Signet - (you know why)
Flesh of My Flesh - (because the above 7 skills might not always work )

The removal of Recuperation or any other spirit makes you much more mobile on the battlefield, because you never need to wait for cooldowns on those things. Weapon spells similarly cannot be removed, but spirits can be killed, meaning that not only do you lose the benefit of it, but you ALSO might not want to use Spirit Light or any other spirit-based spell either.

So yeah. I love Weapon Spells, basically. But good idea with the Cautery/Remedy Signets! I might try that myself. Your original build should work perfectly fine, though, I'm just giving you my opinions and other options here.

Welcome to the Ritualist world!

ty for your help.
i like the idea you have with the weapon spell's.
i'll probably ditch the spirits like you said.. their recharge and vulnerability do hurt.
i'll try out the weapon spell build as well as my original too i guess. has much more mobility in it
thanks for the help!

Personally, I like Spawning over Communion - more hearty spirits.

Drop Mighty Was Vorizun and get Attuned Was Songkai (e). That would mean you drop Cautery Signet, which means you can get Weapon of Warding.

Drop Recouperation for Life. Drop Spirit Light for Wielder's Boon.

Energy Management is key for healing.

Anyways I ended up following the build Oso Minar suggested and it is actually very good as well as easy to manage energy.

My main healing skill, Soothing Memories only cost 2 energy.

I only need to use resilient weapon when i spot someone suffering from a hex or condition.

I use Vital weapon on either the tanks or anyone I see being hit more than others.

As well, by the time my healing spells recharge, I will have already regened the energy.

There are no energy problems with this build.
Condition Removal = Free
Healing = Close to free (after e-regen during recharge)
Weapon Spells = low cost, long duration.
Item spell = 20 extra energy just incase, extra armor always nice.

Of course this build doesn't have enough quick recharging healing spells, so I cannot be the sole healer, but rather more of a support healer (condition remover, and giving hp regen/armor to those suffering from hexes/conditions until the hex/condition can be removed.

Thanks to Oso Minar for the great ideas/build
I'm starting to like weapon spells myself, its nice to see your team full of the weapon spell symbol knowning the benefits came from you.
